Zenia: AI-Powered Yoga Journey
Zenia is an innovative AI-driven application designed to revolutionize home yoga practice. By utilizing advanced AR technologies, the app monitors the correct execution of asanas in real-time, acting as a personal virtual assistant that helps users improve their technique, track progress, and achieve their wellness goals from anywhere.
The primary objective was to create an interface that feels both futuristic and calming. We focused on:
- Guided Experience: Developing a seamless onboarding process and a personal virtual assistant chat to lower the entry barrier for beginners.
- Progress Visualization: Making the complex data of AI monitoring feel simple, rewarding, and easy to track.
- Functional Clarity: Ensuring that even during intense physical practice, the user can easily interact with the app and understand instructions.
The core concept is “The Way.” Visually, the simplest way is a straight line connecting two points. We used this metaphor throughout the interface to hint that practicing yoga with Zenia is the easiest and most direct path to physical and mental balance. Every element serves as a milestone on this clear, guided journey.
The palette reflects a balance between energy and tranquility:
- Vibrant Coral Gradient: Used for primary actions (buttons, active states) and key branding elements. It symbolizes energy, motivation, and the physical “fire” of the practice.
- Calm Sky Blue: Utilized for course cards and specialized sections like “Mental Wellness.” This color provides a soothing contrast, representing the “cool” and meditative side of yoga.
- Clean White & Soft Greys: Act as the foundation, ensuring the interface feels airy, pure, and modern.
To emphasize the modern, tech-oriented nature of the app while maintaining a friendly feel, we used a clean Geometric Sans-Serif (similar to Gilroy or Montserrat):
- Bold Headers: Provide clear, high-contrast instructions that are easy to read from a distance during training.
- Medium & Regular Weights: Used for descriptions and benefits, creating a balanced and professional look that supports the “Virtual Assistant” feel.
The design transforms complex AI technology into a simple “Way,” using a clean aesthetic and energetic coral accents to guide users through an effortless and professional yoga experience.
