About the Project

Virto is a software company for solar energy systems. They develop advanced WEB and CAD applications for PV engineers.

Virto business aim was to enter the European market, but they’ve experienced difficulties with finding the differentiation on the market due to unclear positioning, outdated website, and complicated name that their customer often misspell in Google.

Identity Goals

Differentiate Virto from European solar software companies by holistic brand image and positioning, simple naming and clear descriptor, visual identity.

Project Roadmap
Competitor’s Analysis

Most competitors position themselves as all-in-one solutions capable of handling projects of any size, offering numerous plugins and features. However, they lack clear differentiation both in messaging and visual identity, often relying on generic claims like “smarter and efficient engineering.”

The word “solar” is heavily overused in company names, and branding commonly repeats predictable visuals such as sun symbols, yellow and orange color schemes, and solar panel graphics.

Brand Archetype
Brand Positioning

Arming engineers for expiriments. While most of the competitors represent themselves as smart and efficient solutions, save-timing all-in-one software, we respond to the consumers insights and engineers craving to be creators.

Brand Slogan

Design your solar innovation.

We treat enginners as creators and motivate them to expiriment and search new innovative and unexpected ways to do their job. The rest is covered by our sofware.

Brand Name

Clients often misspell the company name in Google searches, and its length makes it difficult to combine naturally with product names. The word “solar” is heavily overused by competitors, limiting differentiation and brand distinctiveness. At the same time, the owners are concerned that a complete name change could lead to a loss of recognition and existing brand equity.

Brand Identity

We’ve build visual identity around the positioning statement and the idea of transforming perception of engineering: from smart and routine job to creative and innovative business.

Basically we are changing a way to look at engineering with our product the same way as engineers changle angle of solar panels using our sofrware.

We reveal the changing persective showing the solar panels in dynamics, using 3D motio graphics. We’ve also added additional colors to corporate palette to differentiate brand products and highlight some of the software functions. For example, Virto apps show the efficiency of the solar panels coloring those that get the most sun energy in red and energy, and coloring shaded panels in blue.

Brand Identity and Website

A refined and structured website redesign for Virto that elevates the brand into a clear, scalable, and enterprise-ready digital experience. The design focuses on information architecture, usability, and modular UI patterns, creating a seamless journey through complex product offerings while maintaining clarity, consistency, and strong visual hierarchy across all touchpoints.
